Part I
(Travel & Relaxation)
Now that we are back from our Florida vacation and full week has gone by it’s time to staring sharing our pictures!
Our Florida vacation was wonderful! The perfect amount of relaxation, business, and touring!
Part I of our vacation was relaxing and for the most part spent poolside.
Every trip starts with the “Big Day of Travel.”
Our trip was no exception! We started with a lovely bus ride into Boston, hopped on a plane, then traveled by car to the condo.
This was Ryan’s very first plane ride and was not disappointed…in his words…”The plane was awesome!” He was even nice enough to open the shade and share the window seat with Stripey before he decided to take a nap. Every one around us on the plane gave us huge compliments when our plane landed…they said you would never had know we had young little guy with his…he never made a peep!
**Photos are a mixture of cell phone pics, my camera, and Ryan’s camera**
Once we awoke in the morning it was clear that it was going to be a beautiful day to spend poolside…and that is exactly what we did!
I asked Ry what he like best about his first day in Florida…
”Being in the pool ALL day!”
This is what happens when you put an ice cube in your swim trunks…only Ryan!
It is officially time for the “11 Pools in One Day” Challenge!
Ryan has been planning the challenge for almost an entire year! He was so excited and completed the challenge in record time. At each pool he needed to swim from one end to the other and back again! He did this for every pool and finished the challenge by 10:15 am. The only disappointing thing about the challenge…there are actually only 9 pools!
(we did not do the pools in order of their numbers but here are the pics in the order that Ryan swam them)
Pool 4
(Ryan renamed this the Armadillo Pool)
Before we get to the 9th pool…here is some of the Florida scenery along the way
The 9th pool…
The Tiki Bar Pool!
We spent the rest of our day here…
Ryan made a new friend Michael. He is 8 yrs old and lives in Maryland. They swam, played football, and most importantly…hunted for geckos!
Stay tuned for Part II…The Disney part of our Florida Vacation
