The DuVarney family has been having a very busy summer (typical). Sorry for the late post on these vacation photos.
We took our annual trip to Lake George for a week of hard core camping with the Desjadon Family and had a great time.
The week was filled with swimming, fishing, boating, and exploring.
We stayed on Turtle Island again this year (site 23) and really had to be careful for rattle snakes. The ranger said they pulled three snakes off the island just one day before we arrived…yikes!
Once we arrived we did a little boating and swimming before setting up camp. Once camp was set up it was fishing time!
Waiting for the boat to go in the water
Ryan helped to set up the camp too…His favorite job…Putting HIS tent together
Ryan’s bringing in the Big One
His first cast on the first day of vacation and he reeled in this 18” 5lb Large Mouth Bass!
Ryan enjoyed doing a little boating of his own early in the morning
Ryan and Maddie made a fort on the boat and played in it forever
What’s not to love?
The kids waiting patiently for one our sunset cruises
S’mores Time at Turtle 23
We needed a little break for all the swimming so we headed to Fort William Henry for a little history lesson
