Spelling Game A-La Mom
Today was such a gloomy day that Ryan and I spent some time in some comfy clothes and played a spelling game.
It all started with Ryan playing with some letters and very excited to show me what he spelt.
Needless to say he was a little disappointed to find out that the only word he actually spelled was “Mom.” I’m not going to lie…this didn’t bother me very much but I figured maybe we could make a game and learn how to spell some real words. So…out came the flash cards…he spells 4 words then he makes a story using the 4 words then wins the flash cards (I know very lame to the average person but to a 4yr old…pretty cool).
He’s one proud spelling bee
