V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N....We're on vacation! Our final vacation of the summer got off to a rocky start (or should I say windy). Hurricane Irene swept through the east coast with little care of the DuVarney family vacation plan (how dare she!). We all know Mike and the rest of the DuVarney family though....they were not going to let a little hurricane come in the way of their final summer vacation! Mike's family left a day before we did and made sure to find adequate accommodations for all us. Mike had a plan and was sticking with it! We arrived safely in Virginia Beach Sunday evening and started our week long vacation! Unfortunately, Irene was pretty forceful out on the Outer Banx so we had to spend a little more time in Virginia than originally planned.Ryan was very excited in Virginia Beach...This was his first time in a hotel room! He found a few things in the hotel room to really entertain himself with.
Luckily Busch Gardens was close by! Making the best of it we headed to the amusement park!
Adults must be accompanied by a child!

Then there was a little down pour!
We all did our best to stay out of the rain and keep dry....
BUT.....Every now and then you just need to dance in the rain!
It's STILL raining...
The rain stopped and we were off to the rides again!
The grown ups even got some fun ride time in...
Leave it to Ryan to find a "Dance Stage" and get all of us out there shaking our booties
